Science-Policy Interfacing in support of the WFD implementation - final conference 30-31 October 2008
The final conference of the of the SPI-Water project titled "Managing water scientific information in support of the WFD and IWRM implementation" will be arranged 30 and 31 October 2008 in Brussels,Belgium.
Conference objectives are facilitating to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and water policy implementation, presenting the enhanced WISE-RTD Web Portal as a tool for sharing water related research information and operational practices and facilitating the transfer of WFD and IWRM experiences within EU and towards non-EU countries.
Target groups for the conference are: Operational water managers, researchers, water policy implementation agencies, policy makers, EC project coordinators, consulting & engineering companies, scientific media ; from Europe and outside Europe.
