Cemagref and the PEER Network is organising this seminar on environmental technology in Montpellier 11-12 October 2006. The goal of this seminar is to study and discuss the development of environmental technology and it is designed in close collaboration with DG Research (Directorate Environment) and DG Environment. The seminar will:
Look at potential research needs for environmental technology
Offer a platform for the exchange of experiences, knowledge, methodologies and tools available within environmental technology research
Evaluate the use of these competences to assess environmental issues within the context of FP7
Study the relationship between technology and general environmental problems

Policy Support and Life Cycle thinking
Life Cycle Assessment
Environmental technologies and innovation
Sustainability Assessment and sustainable consumption
Sustainable management of energy, water, waste and landscape
Target audience:
