EC Symposium on Future Climate - Impacts and Responses, 19-20 Nov 2007
The European Commission, Directorate General for Research, is organising a Symposium on IPCC and EC research entitled: “FUTURE CLIMATE, IMPACTS & RESPONSES - The IPCC 4th assessment report & EC integrated climate research" 19th and 20th November 2007, Brussels
This symposium will bring together leading scientists on climate change from Europe and outside Europe. Its objective is to acquire knowledge and to discuss urgent research needs by considering key findings from the 4th Intergovermental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Assessment Report and on-going EC funded research. The sessions of the symposium will be organised around the following themes: Future climate-projections and uncertainties, impacts of climate change, and adaptation and mitigation strategies.
