Bridging the Sci-pol Gap? EurAqua attended the IWRM-net mid-term conference

The mid-term event of the IWRM-net- Regional and National research programmes network on Integrated Water Resource Management- was held in Brussels 11-12 February 2009. EurAqua attended the conference 'Bridging the Sci-Pol Gap' of around 60 participants.

The strategic objective of the IWRM-net project is improving long-term coordination of national and regional Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) research programmes inEurope.

The project co-ordinators report that they during the two day conference received some excellent inputs and comments from a wide range of stakeholders and that the event has given the partners alot of food for thought.

IWRM-net will launch it's 2nd Call for trans-national research projects scheduled June 15 — October 15, 2009
